INFORMATION SPACE DISPLAY: Special spaces at the Capital City/Lake Murray County Visitors Center have been reserved for you to showcase information on your business in our Literature Display Room. With this service, you can directly reach hundreds of individuals at the exact time they are looking for information. In 2005-2006, an average of 36,000 people came to the Capital City/Lake Murray Country Visitors Center. Our Visitors Center is the only Visitors Center with signage on the interstate (located on I-26) in this region and open seven days at week.

RELOCATION REPORT: Each Monday the organization e-mails a report developed from the visitor’s guest book, phone and Internet inquires for realtors and developers. This gives you the opportunity to target individuals who have contacted the Visitors Center for relocation information. In 2005-2006, the Visitor Center had over 10,125 prospective residents request information.

THE BROADCASTER NEWSLETTER: Our quarterly newsletter is available online at www.lakemurraycountry.com. This newsletter enables you to view first-hand information concerning the region’s tourism development and progress; updates on projects that are on-going in the region; as well as, informative and entertaining articles. New members are spotlighted in each edition.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING: Each August, the organization holds a meeting of its members. This meeting not only gives you a chance to network with others but also gives you the opportunity to voice your ideas and/or concerns and vote on officers for the board of directors.

SPECIAL EVENTS DISCOUNTS AND OPPORTUNITIES: As a member of Capital City/Lake Murray Country, you will enjoy discounted ticket prices to our special events, like the Taste of Lake Murray. You will also be given the opportunity to advertise In event publications and sponsor events that recognized throughout the region.

RENTAL OF THE LORICK PLANTATION HOUSE – The visitors’ center is available for rent after business hours. As a member of Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism, you will receive a discounted rate for functions. (Some restrictions apply, lower level only.)

PRESTIGE: Your membership distinguishes you from others by showing your support of the renovation and restoration of an 1840 historical home. Your flyers/brochures or business cards will be displayed in an elegant setting where you can be confident in knowing that a trained professional staff with over 30 years of tourism experience will be in contact with your perspective clients.

SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY- WHITE GLOVE TREATMENT– All members receive “White Glove” treatment from our friendly staff.
